A civil society organization working for climate justice and healthy ecosystems in Liberia.

Who we are

Earth Rangers (ER) is a civil society organization based in Monrovia, Liberia, dedicated to promoting climate justice, sustainable development, environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. We work through advocacy, partnerships, research and community-driven initiatives to address climate change, environmental degradation and wildlife conservation challenges.

Our programs support climate change adaptation and mitigation through clean and renewable energy promotion, reforestation, environmental education and habitat restoration. We also strengthen environmental monitoring through research, data collection and modern technologies that track endangered wildlife and improve community safety.

Our mission

To support Liberia’s national climate, environmental and biodiversity priorities by advancing climate justice, conserving ecosystems and wildlife, strengthening environmental monitoring and research, and promoting inclusive, community-led climate action in alignment with national policies, the Sustainable Development Goals and international climate frameworks.

Our vision

A climate-resilient Liberia where healthy ecosystems, protected biodiversity and inclusive sustainable development improve livelihoods, reduce vulnerability and ensure environmental security for present and future generations.

We work closely with government institutions, local communities and development partners to strengthen environmental governance and protect vulnerable populations from the impacts of climate change.

What we aim to achieve

Through our work, Earth Rangers aims to conserve biodiversity, reduce illegal logging and poaching, and help build a climate-resilient Liberia where healthy ecosystems and sustainable development improve livelihoods and environmental security.
