One of Earth Rangers’ tree nurseries is currently being developed as part of our preparations to implement major community-based reforestation and forest restoration projects across Liberia, with our current focus on Grand Cape Mount County.
The nursery will serve as a source of healthy, locally appropriate tree seedlings for restoration of degraded landscapes, community forests, roadsides, watersheds, and other priority areas. Through this initiative, Earth Rangers is working to restore Liberia’s natural ecosystems, strengthen climate resilience, protect biodiversity, and create meaningful opportunities for communities and young people to participate in environmental conservation.

Our work goes beyond planting trees. We are building a long-term restoration program that connects seedling production, community engagement, environmental education, biodiversity protection, climate action, and sustainable land management.

Knowledge that helps communities protect restored land.
Restoring habitat for the wildlife that depends on it.
Forests that store carbon and strengthen resilience.
Long-term care of restored landscapes.

As Earth Rangers expands this initiative, we welcome partnerships and support from donors, development organizations, government institutions, businesses, conservation partners, and individuals who share our vision of a greener, healthier, and more climate-resilient Liberia.
